Meet Officer Tanya Meeks

Officer Tanya Meeks,  a 14 year veteran with the Flint Police Department wears many hats including Blue Badge Volunteer Corps. Coordinator. Most of her career was spent as a community policing officer working with various community groups and schools, speaking to youth about violence and drugs and peer pressure.  She is the coordinator for Crime Stoppers of Flint and currently serving as City’s Chief Service Officer as part of a Cities of Service Impact Volunteering Fund grant.
